Maureen Peyrot is a screenwriter and movie producer and resides in Los Angeles. She began her career in the film industry as a production assistant before joining Imagine Entertainment in their New York office tracking books and plays to adapt into films. After two and a half years, Maureen was transferred to the Los Angeles office of Image and quickly rose through the ranks.

Maureen served as Executive Vice President Motion Pictures at Imagine Entertainment where she worked for 13 years. She acquired numerous books and scripts, developed and produced films including Academy Award-winning "A Beautiful Mind." Maureen also Executive produced "The Cat in the Hat," "Mercury Rising" and "Stealing Harvard."

In 2003, Maureen decided to take time off from working outside her home to raise her son and daughter.

Ready to get back in the saddle, in 2009, produced the documentary film "Pink Skies." The incredible story revolved around one hundred and thirty women who not only broke the world record for the largest "Women's Skydiving Formation," but those same women raised over a million dollars for breast cancer research.

Soon after, Maureen developed several television shows and then wrote her first screenplay, a romantic-comedy called "Sold" which changed the course of her career.

Since then, Maureen has immersed herself to the craft of screenwriting and is excited to move forward on "Relay Rescue," her second screenplay and passion project.
